About Julie

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, outgoing, loyal. I like working with kids because there is something new every day and every child is different. I'm a retired educator and mother of 4 grown children. I am looking for part time work in the area. I am looking for work that is relaxed fun and rewarding. I enjoy helping families ease the stress of daily life. I started working with kids when I was 13 as a babysitter where I realized I loved caring and helping young people and families. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education/Human Development , ECE teacher and director certified. I have over 20 years experience as a developmental specialist for Early Intervention and 10 years as an educator in public schools with severe special needs students. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, adult children, dogs , cooking, photography, being outside, and going to the beach.
