About Julie

I have 6 years of experience caring for kids between the ages 1 - 13 years. My educational background includes graduating with honors from a private high school and summa cum laude from university which means I can easily help with homework and grasping difficult concepts. My degree is in theatre which makes me not only the go-to sitter for story time and improv games but also an emotionally intelligent person who can help children better understand their feelings. I also have 10 years of experience as a visual artist so I'm ready for all the arts, crafts, and creativity. I have worked successfully for families with shy children, loud children, children with ADHD and anxiety, and children who have severe food allergies. I personally am six years vegan so I am a pro at reading food labels and handling any allergies/sensitivities in the family. In all families that I've worked for I have quickly become the "favorite sitter," which is a title I've earned from both kids and parents.
