About Julie

I'm an experienced childcare provider with a passion for fostering children's growth and development. With over 15 years of experience, I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I have a bachelor's degree in birth-kindergarten education and have experience teaching preschool special education and kindergarten. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and have a knack for connecting with children and making them feel safe and happy. I believe in open communication with parents and will always keep you updated on your child's day. Throughout my years as a childcare provider and teacher I have received training in the following discipline methods: Powerfully Positive, Conscious Discipline, PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support). As a teacher I received certification in Social-Emotional Foundations in Early Learning. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and I'm always looking for ways to make routines fun and engaging!
