Seeing the dedication of his 24/7 caregivers-from nurses to occupational therapists to physical therapists, I acquired a profound admiration for the hard work, dedication, and love provided to my father. I realize the importance of dignity and respect while living in your later years, and I would like to provide that to others as well. It means so much with respect to my own dad. I am an LNA/CNA who has worked both in long term care settings and home care. I have an MS in counseling psychology and have worked in the disability field for 13 years, but felt it was time for a career change. I have raised two children and am a dog mom to two doodles. I am nurturing by nature, as well as warm and caring. I would be honored to help care for your loved one.

I hired Kaarin this past spring thru Care.com for my 84 year old mother with Dementia who lives alone. Kaarin has provided exemplary care to our Mother for over 5 months. Kaarin was caring, reliable, patient, skilled in dementia care, able to anticipate needs, and excellent with communication with our family. My mother looked forward to every time Kaarin would come. She has an approach that puts my mother at ease. I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years and Kaarin is special. We are hoping to use her again next spring.
