About Kaitlyn

I started off babysitting like most people. I had a big church community so I would babysit multiple families at a time. Right after high school I started doing In Home Care for an 8-year-old boy with autism. My main priority was to socialize with him and get him to socialize with others. After that I went to a gym that had a daycare and I would look after the children (ages 3 months-12 years) while their mothers would work out. In April of 2019, I took a job with UVA/child care service. I was a teaching associate mainly with infants and toddlers. Recently I switched to another daycare where I am a lead teacher with toddlers/infants. I love working with children, but I think I would like being in small group/one on one care. I have my CPR/first aid certification. As well as 24 hour DSS training hours. I would be able to start immediately since the place I was working with has shut down and I'm unemployed because of the pandemic.
