Hello, my name is Kalei, I graduated from University of Washington with a Sociology degree in 2022. Since, I have moved to Arizona, and am currently looking for a nanny position full/part time :) I started my nanny career at age 15 in 2014, and since then nannied for 5 families. I have worked for families with parents away, as well as work from home parents. In both cases I genuinely enjoy my job. I am good at detecting what kids need, as well as being respectful to the parents rules and parenting ideals. I am a very open person and will communicate with you what I see as far as behavioral patterns. One of my philosophies with the job, is that a child can detect if you 'want' to be there or not. So, something I bring with me to work every day, is attention for your little one. I enjoy having friendships with kids and trying to understand them. I have always been able to bond this way with kids, even with more challenging personalities.

Kalei has been a wonderful nanny for us for over six months, and we would be happy to continue working with her if our circumstances/child care needs were not changing. Kalei is very warm and caring. She is always extremely present and engaging with our daughter (who is almost two). Kalei is very reliable/dependable and is also a strong communicator. We would recommend her to other families for sure!
