About Kali

I have been an in home caregiver for 3 years! I've worked with all types of clients. (Older, younger, quadriplegics, people with dementia, autism, etc) Being a caregiver has got to be my favorite job by far. I love working with people of all ages. I enjoy taking care of people and helping them out. I've done everything from light housekeeping, bathing, transferring (using equipment and without), changing briefs, assistance with meals, assistance with showers or bathroom runs, wound treatments, medication reminders, companionship, etc. I always try to put myself in other people's shoes in order to try to understand their situations and feelings of frustration when it comes to their limited abilities (if they have any) this has shown me how to be more patient and understanding. I believe it's very important people have the loving care they need to feel comfortable and safe. And I do everything in my power to obtain that in my job.
