About Kara

I am a 23-year-old recent graduate from the occupational therapy program at the University of Scranton. I completed field work at a skilled nursing facility and an inpatient rehab unit involving assist with personal care tasks for people with many diagnoses, including stroke and hip/knee replacements. I have assisted with dressing, bathing, toileting, and community tasks for seniors as part of my educational training. I also spent a large amount of my time with my Nana growing up, and helped with housekeeping and running errands. I have a passion for helping others in any way possible, which is why I chose to pursue OT with inspiration from my Nana. Outside of school I have a part-time job as a waitress. I am available to provide care throughout the summer until the end of August on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and some Mondays. I will be away the weeks of June 10-17 and July 16-23.
