I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and responsible. I like working with kids because I love connecting with children and the overall excitement of the day. I am also somewhat a kid at heart and enjoy reading, playing, and crafts. I started working with kids when I was 16 and babysat my dad's bosses kids. I have held several other babysitting jobs since then and volunteered as a camp counselor at Pacific Marine Mammal Center. In my spare time, I like to be outside! I love the beach, sports, hiking, snowboarding, basically anything you can think of. One thing you should know about me is that although I love to have fun, I also have a "type A personality" and can assure you that your house will be clean, probably even cleaner by the end of the day.

Kara is fantastic with our 2 year old daughter. She plays games with her, draws chalk pictures with her on the sidewalk, and plays pretend. They go on walks to the park and enjoy snacktime. Kara is on time and easy to communicate with over text. Recommend!
