Prior to becoming a CNA, home health caregiver, I worked as a dental assistant for about 20 years. For the past 6 years or more, I have worked for various agencies in home health, and also as an Activity Assistant at Life Care Center in Orlando. Unfortunately, Life Care Center has closed due to extensive flooding from Hurricane Ian, and I have open availability for home health care. I have all my current Covid, Flu, and Shingles vaccines. My CNA license, and CPR certifications are current. I have reliable transportation, license and insurance are current. I am seeking full time, and would consider working as a live in companion. I recently worked part time with a delightful lady but she was constantly asking me when I would be returning. I so wanted to say, I will never leave you, I will always be with you. Karen worked with my mother for a few months prior to having to place my mom in an Assisted Living. She is extremely knowledgeable about Dementia and aging. She had the incredible patience and treated my mother with respect; ensuring she maintain her dignity during this very sad process. Karen went above and beyond every day. She was on time and made herself very available. She even made herself available to provide live in coverage for vacations etc. I recommend Karen wholeheartedly for any position. She knows what she is doing, is a career caregiver and showed great empathy to me as I made the decision to place my mom. If you are fortunate enough to have Karen work with your loved one, take advantage. There are not too many people left in this world who are as honest and trustworthy as Karen. We miss her.
