I like caring for seniors because I find it very rewarding when I can make a difference in someone's life and put a smile on their face. I'm looking for a job that shows my ability to help someone with their needs. I am friendly, trustworthy and dependable. I started caring for seniors when my mom was diagnosed with dementia and my dad became ill. They are both in their 80's: I try and be there for them as much as I can. I believe I can help more people with the same needs. In my spare time, I like to work out at the YMCA, garden, spend time with friends and family and try new restaurants. One thing you should know about me is I have lived in Florida since 1983 and moved from Washington, PA. I have one son who is 20 years old. I have worked at the same company for 37 years and I am looking for the opportunity to try something new. I enjoy helping people and feel like this would be a perfect fit for me. My skills include running errands, light cleaning, helping with meals.
