About Karina

Hello! A fun fact about me is that I began roller skating at age 4 and was a competitive artistic roller skater for about 15 years. I've travelled across the nation and have won several National Championships. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara last year and babysat for a few different families during my time there. Additionally, I spearheaded a roller-skating program at the Montecito where I coached beginner and intermediate youth skaters. I've gained experience over the past 10 years looking after children ranging from only a few months to 15 years old. I love forming a bond with families that's built on trust and mutual respect. I pride myself in being communicative, empathetic, patient, and kind. Whether we play games, do arts & crafts, take a walk, or even go over schoolwork, my favorite part about babysitting is engaging with the kids and making sure they enjoy my company and feel comfortable around me.
