About Katarina

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, & outgoing. I like working with kids because they have a viewpoint of the world that adults tend to leave behind. They use their imagination to see everything in a different light. I started working with kids when I was 16. I was a full-time nanny through the summer months for a family friend. I looked after her two children, 4 & 6 yrs, from early mornings to late afternoons for three months. Throughout the summer I took them on trips to the Zoo, their local pool, the movies, the bowling alley, various summer camps, etc. In my spare time, I like to read, draw/paint, cook/bake, and spend time with my husband & two dogs. One thing you should know about me is I have been First Aid certified as well as Lifeguard certified since 2018. I worked as a lifeguard at a family pool as well as an overnight summer camp for kids ages 9-17 yrs. My skills include cooking, creative thinking, and child safety.
