About Kate

I like working with kids because it allows me to bring out my inner child & just have fun. I love arts and crafts, playing outdoors, & making up new stories and adventures with the kids. I started working with kids when I was in high school babysitting neighbor kids, & then was recruited to run the kids club at a local country club for a couple years. But since then I have started nannying on the side (overnights on the weekends & date nights) In my spare time, I like to try out new recipes baking & spending time outside. One thing you should know about me is that I treat the kids I babysit like family. The boys and girls I watch become my little siblings. I tend to nanny families for many years until they either move away or they go off to middle school. My skills include my creativity (my ability to create new games or stories), compassion and respect (my love for others & making sure the kids feel heard), & my safety skills (first aid & CPR)
