About Katelin

As an art education major at Shippensburg University (of Pennsylvania), I have spent countless hours working with children of all ages. I have even taught lessons for a first grade English class at a nearby elementary school. I have a passion for teaching that is contagious, and feel as though children are our most valuable asset to society's future. I feel that a broad education base in all areas is important and necessary for every child. Also, I have taken several hours of course work to help learn several ways to teach a variety of different learners. As someone who originally struggled with school who is now earning Dean's List as a collegiate athlete, I feel I have a lot to offer to children because of my ability to relate to them.
