About Katelyn

Hi, my name is Katelyn. I'm 27 years old and I'm trying to find jobs for when I'm not in school. I'm currently a full time nursing student and also work at the hospital. My background is in EMS and I have my BLS certification for infant/child/adult. I have lots of experience working with kids in the medical field, and in a childcare setting. I'd describe my personality as energetic, positive, and outgoing I like working with kids because I myself am young at heart. Working with kids brings out joy and a sense of purpose for me. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. I started out as a youth leader in my church. Then went on to become a preschool teacher. In my early 20's I also worked for the Army as a civilian and was a teacher at the child development centers on military installations. Throughout all of those years I have been a nanny for many families. In my spare time, I like to cook, spend time with my family, be outdoors, and paint/ draw.
