About Kate

I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and supporting families. I got my bachelor's degree in Special Education and will be working towards a masters degree in Social Work. I'm a patient, calm, and friendly person who easily builds rapport with children. I love reading and painting/any sort of crafts. I played tons of sports as a kid and would be happy to include outdoor time too! I always follow the parents' preferred communication methods and household rules. I have two years of experience as a childcare provider and after-school teacher. Happy to help with homework! I can be certified in CPR and First Aid as soon as I am hired (I need to renew my certification). I have a car and am very comfortable with pets. I'm dedicated to providing high-quality childcare that meets the individual needs of each child. I am also able to help out with housework and cooking (I also went to culinary school) as needed.
