Hi! I'm Kate and I'm a college student currently studying at the University of Maryland, but I live in Parsippany over the summer. My first experience working with children comes from my 2 nieces that are now 6 and 7, whom I babysit and take care of often. I have worked 2 different lifeguard jobs, both working with children one-on-one and in groups to teach them how to swim confidently. I have also been a dance teacher/ student teacher at Sharon's Studio in Whippany, NJ since 2017. Working at the studio I have learned how to focus on the needs of each student (I've worked with ages 2-12) and I have been able to create a fun but safe environment for them to learn. I also babysit for date nights occasionally.
