My name is Katerina and I am a singing teacher. I have been teaching students for 7 years from ages three and above. My objective is to help my students find their inner creativity and expression by enriching their intellectual and cultural background through music. Whether they want to pursue a career in music or would just like to perform for their family and friends, I am able to help them achieve their goal. I believe if a student begins training from a young age they have the potential to pursue a career in music and become fluent with their instrument. I also have an enriched educational background in music, as I have two Bachelor`s degree in music focusing on Musicology and Vocal Performance (Opera) and a Master`s Degree in Vocal Performance. I have also played the piano for eight years and I am fluent in Greek and advanced in Italian and Spanish.

I am the Music Director of Manhattan Opera Studio, an educational program for young singers based in New York City. Katerina has been working with us since the company opened in 2013, and has brought great professionalism and mastery to the company. We have been able to witness the growth of our students through her knowledgeable teaching skills , as they fully flourish into fine singers and artists. One of the finest features she has is her persistence in ensuring that the students fully grasp the concepts, as she will dedicate as much time needed to help them deliver a good end result. She is also in charge of many administrative tasks in the company, which she handles exceptionally and has great relationships with her colleagues.
