I already adore your sweet animal friend! Ive always had multiple pets (dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, parrots, fish) and am the go-to caregiver for friends and family when they need a pet-sitter. From unique and rare animals to those with special needs and big personalities, I'm here for them! Currently I'm also seeking animal communication training so I can even better understand how to care for your loved ones! I am a small business owner of a pet-friendly coffee shop in East Denver. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I worked in the field of education as a director, advisor, teacher and coach for years kindergarten through college. My background is in diversity and equity and international education. I love families of all shapes and makes! I am myself a parent of 4 almost grown kids in a blended family and was a caregiver for my own parents so I can understand the intricacies of any situation. Kate house sat and watched our 3 senior animals for 12 days while we were on vacation. We have two dogs and a cat. Our animals are pretty high maintenance as they all take daily medication. We felt like Kate went above and beyond while watching them. She came over ahead of the sitting to tour our house, meet the animals, and learn about their medication and daily needs. We felt so comfortable leaving our fur babies with her after we had our initial meet and greet. Kate was wonderful about communicating and sending pictures as well. To top it off our oldest dog experienced unusual swelling in her limbs while we were away. Kate graciously took her to the vet for us and incorporated new medicine on top of her other daily pills. Kate is warm, dependable, and capable, and we will continue to use her for our house sitting needs. I would recommend her enthusiastically and without hesitation.
