"Learning Should Be Fun!" is my educational motto. I believe that students who have fun while learning, will master needed skills, and become life long learners. Life long learners choose to learn because they want to (self-motivated), not only because parents & educators say they "have to learn." My 20 plus years of experience in private, public, online, and homeschool educational settings has proven this to be true. Over the past 10 years I've been the primary teacher/tutor for 3 families & 6 students. During this time I taught multiple ages using grade appropriate curriculum which met/exceeded WA State (private/public) and WHO (homeschool) standards. I have received certification in K-12 Curriculum(TM) & as a School 2 Work Trainer. I also have a BS in Social Work, an AA in Human Services, and am a certified Family Mediator. I am ready today for a new opportunity to assist students & families with educational goals. "How may I assist with your learning today?"

Kathy tutored and taught both of our children from 4th grade through high school. They went to a hybrid home school/public school and she did their home teaching. She is phenomenal! She gave individualized and specialized attention to each of their learning needs and made it fun. We would highly recommend her. She is a very caring person.
