About Kathy

Hello, my name is Kathy . I'm a former teacher and current nanny. I worked at Addus Health Care in southern Illinois for 2 years (04-05) before moving to the quad cities. I worked with seniors in their home giving them direct care. Any and all tasks were performed by me including personal hygiene, errands and all household duties. Prior to working with the home health care agency, I worked for CCS (now the Mentor Network.. also in southern Illinois) with adults that had acquired or traumatic brain injuries. I have ample training (and annual retraining) for the 5 years I was employed there. I worked with participants in the adult program that were high functioning, as well as with adults with zero independent life skills. I love working with people and find personal joy in helping people. With all 4 of my grandparents being deceased, I find it comforting to work with seniors that appreciate in home care. And companionship.
