About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie, and I am an experienced educator through Early Childhood Education to the Middle School Grades. I currently work in special education at a local elementary school and have experience with teaching students with learning and behavioral needs. I subbed as a general education teacher in 3rd grade in the Fall. I have my certifications in Elementary Education (Prek-6th) and Special Education (Prek-8th) from Arcadia University. I student taught in First grade and K-2nd Learning Support. I am also a C. A. L. P.-Certified Academic Language Practitioner from the Academic Language Therapy Association. I have worked at many privately owned day cares and child care companies during the past few years. I have worked primarily with the toddler and preschool-aged children (2-3-year-olds), but throughout the school year, I worked as a Pre-K and After School Head Teacher. I have tutored on the side for the past two years and would like to be on service to you during this time.
