About Katie

Hi :) my name is Katie and I am a graduate of PSC & UWF majoring in Music Education. My journey with kids began with my little sister who is a decade younger than myself. She has helped me find a love for nurturing children since I was young and I found myself always accepting babysitting jobs throughout high school/college. I also worked in the nursery at my church for years where I cared for children from as young as newborns. Throughout college and since, I have had the privilege to babysit, dog sit, house keep and house sit for many other families and I enjoy it very much. After UWF, I immediately began a position as a full time home school instructor which I held for about three years. In addition to teaching his full school curriculum, I planned additional activities and ultimately tailored his learning experience to him. I currently babysit, teach private music lessons & perform sporadically. Reach out if you need an extra pair of hands because I'm happy to help :)
