About Katie

My name is Katie, I am 27 years old. I have undergone first aid and CPR training. I have worked for many families in home as well as out of home facilities (Daycare, Group Homes, Adult Foster Cares.) I initially started as a weekend/date night babysitter at the age of 13. After doing that for 3 years while attending school, at 16 I started my 'first' job at a daycare. I absolutely loved it! I then was offered a position by a family with special needs children. I worked underneath the supervision of an occupational therapist. I have experience handling behaviors ranging from very severe to no behaviors at all. I like to think that I have the gift of having an extreme amount of patience and that is why I feel that I would make a perfect fit for any family.
