About Katie

Hello! I am a 24-year-old graduate student. I graduated in May 2023 from UT Austin, and am currently pursuing my masters degree in speech-language pathology at UT Health San Antonio. I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, and funny. I like working with kids because I've always had younger nieces and nephews growing up so spending time with them and watching them grow has been a blast. I also got the awesome opportunity to work at a summer camp the past 2 summers where I supervised and cared for large groups of girls for weeks at a time. Working at summer camp was where I also got CPR and first aid certified which will come in handy when babysitting and caring for children! I have experience working with kids of all ages. I volunteered with babies under 12 months in the nursery at my church and then worked with kids ages 8-13 at summer camp. I have also babysat kids ages 4-10 in high school and college. I love kids so much and have always had a passion for working with them!
