I am a huge animal lover. It's actually a joke between my friends that I am the "animal lady", always trying to find a home for a pet in need or stopping people on the street to pet their furry pal. I am a current volunteer where I transport dogs from an animal shelter to APA to save them from the euthanasia list. I dog walk and I spoil my "little" (a dog) with treats, trips to the groomer, and sleepovers. Growing up, we always had multiple pets - dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, turtles, you name it. But, I have the most experience with dogs and in recent years, I've had 4 dogs full-time. I have pet-sat off and on for years for friends and my parents, but not through a site like Care.com.
