About Katie

All my life I have been surrounded by children due to my mother being an elementary school teacher. I would frequently work as a volunteer tutor and assisted in classrooms as an aide for teachers. Over the past 6 years I have worked as a nanny for kids ranging from newborn to 13 years old. Not only would I assist with simple tasks around the house but I was also responsible for preparing meals, taking kids to extra curricular activities, and making sure homework is done and completed before bed. I make sure children stay away from being cooped up in a house and enjoy an assortment of outdoor activities. I do have first aid experience as well as CPR/ coaching experience (soccer), and even gained experience with working with children with special needs. I completely understand parents need a helping hand every once in a while, and extreme patience and care is given to their children as if they are my own.
