About Katie

I am an energetic and patient art teacher with 7 years of experience being a nanny and a babysitter working with children of all ages (infants-young adults). For the past 3 summers I have babysat the same kids and I have loved it so much I may potentially leave my full time teaching job if I find the right family to work with! I am looking for something stable and reliable with consistent hours and benefits if possible. Prior to teaching, I was a swim instructor for many years, gaining CPR and First Aid certifications that are up to date, lifeguard training, and basic water safety skills. Art is my passion and I am a very creative person, therefore I often times incorporate those kinds of activities into my babysitting jobs. I also love animals and volunteer my time fostering pups, alongside of caring for our two dogs and cat. On the job I am more than happy to assist with additional tasks as well if needed. With all of my skills and experience, your child is in safe hands with me!
