Before moving to Iowa city I worked at an Assisted living home from the age 15-19. I worked as a Resident Assistant and helped residents with everyday basic needs. I also worked in the memory care unit. I have a lot of experience with caring for the elderly, and I love every second of it! If they need help with anything I love to be there to assist or if they just want to talk and have someone be with them I will always do that. I loved my job because of the relationships I made with all my residents, I even go back and visit at times when I'm home. I've always had a love/passion for caring for others. Now that I live in Iowa city I work as a nanny and pick up shifts all the time. I also graduated from Kirkwood in December 2021 with my Dental Assisting Certification.
