About Kayla

Hi! my name is Kayla. I am 32 years old and have been working with children professionally ranging from ages 0 months to 13 for 12 years! I myself have three children of my own, two of whom are on the autism spectrum and are 4 and 5 years old. The oldest is 11 years old. I've worked in a variety of different childcare settings from daycares that focus on emotional and developmental services to volunteering at shelters for families in hardship. I started nannying for family friends and neighbors when I was in middle school, and have loved working with children since. I went to UEI college, where I received my medical assistant certification, and soon became employed at a pediatric clinic. I have done respite work with kiddos and adults with special needs for 4 years, and worked as a teacher's aide for a special day TK classroom ! I'd describe my personality as nurturing, calm, and patient. My skills include potty training, cleaning, and helping reach developmental milestones
