About Kayla

My name is Kayla S. and I attend the University of Maryland, College Park. I was born and raised in Prince George's County Maryland, providing me familiarity with all parts of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. In June of 2020, I graduated from Connelly School of the Holy Child, located in Montgomery County. During high school, I was known for my leadership skills and ability to facilitate positive and direct communication. This skill has given me the capacity to work well with people from any background. Over the last couple of years I have gained previous work experience with children 5-13, as a youth program assistant. Due to my work ethic and promise, I was quickly promoted to a site director at Community Service Foundation. In my previous position as a manager of youth programs, I was tasked with facilitating after school and summer enrichment programs, which included core subjects.
