About Kaylee

I am currently a high school science teacher at Solon. I have held multiple jobs in childcare such as a program leader for a summer school, a tutor, babysitting, and a summer camp counselor. I understand the importance and responsibility that comes with work with children. As a program leader at a summer school I interacted with children in grades K-4 with recreational and enrichment activities. I also provided support to children with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and supported students with behavioral problems with one on one interactions and support strategies. As a camp counselor I created a safe, friendly and nurturing environment for children ages 5-12. I also collaborated with other counselors to implement group activities and supervised the children as we went on field trips and to the community pool. Not only have I held formal jobs working with children, but I have had numerous babysitting experiences as well.
