About Kelly

I am a licensed special education teacher in both New Hampshire and Mass. I have worked with students in grades k-12 for the last 9 years with learning challenges. When I tutor I work mainly with students K-6 in math , reading and writing. I have training in Orton Gilligham, and LIPS reading systems. If your student is anxious, having difficulty with other diagnosis that interfere when they interact with other children I have also taught students skills in social / emotional learning such as empathy, perspective taking and cooperative play. I have also worked with students that need reinforcement of skills or just need to learn in a different way. It is important that I help students to learn and I always focus on strategies and skills that the student can apply independently. I can come to your home or meet at your local library. Copies of my licensure is always available upon request.
