About Kelly

Hi! I'm Kelly. I am currently a 1st grade teacher seeking a babysitting or tutoring job a few hours per week after school or on weekends. I have previous taught 2nd grade, and have substitute taught in many grade levels. I am certified to teach both special and general education in grades 1-6. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked at the YMCA Before and After School program, which involved planning activities for and supervising children ages 5-11, worked through Americorps as a 6th and 7th grade math tutor, and worked as an outdoor educator, leading team-building activities and teaching about wildlife and ecology. I have babysat and nannied both part-time and full-time for kids of all ages, including infants, and would be happy to provide references. I have been previously certified in CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid. I love kids, reading, crafts, hiking and anything that involves being outdoors!
