About Kelsey

I am a current PhD student at the University of Delaware. I have experience tutoring children, teens, and college aged students in math and science. My approach to tutoring is the following: I first teach the concept/subject to the student to get a grasp of the basics. I walk through a couple example problems, followed by giving them their own to work on, giving hints when needed. If I see they are grasping the concept, I move on to more difficult questions. On the other hand, when struggling with a topic, I teach the same concept in another way and show them how to do more problems step by step. I am patient and flexible and prioritize your child's learning!
