Hello, My name is Keona! I'm currently a nursing student to become a Licensed Nurse and have been a CNA/Caregiver for seniors including my great grandma/great grandpa for a total of 6 years. I have a lot of experience in a wide range of areas, I have worked in convalescent hospitals, senior facilities, & in home. I'm advanced in Diabetes(type 1 & 2) including specialized meal prep, severe Dementia/Alzheimer's, Schizophrenia/Mental Health, blind/impaired vision, immobile, the list goes one! Under my care I can guarantee that you and your loved one will feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am a naturally compassionate, empath, patient, upbeat, and trustworthy person with a lot of emotional intelligence. My care that I provide differs from many because of my intuitive choices and specialized care for each individual. I can’t even began to say how grateful we are to have had Keona in our lives… she is really a gift from God. We found her through a caregiving agency after many failed caregivers. She has been with my 88 year old mother for about a year until she passed. We went through about 10 caregivers until we met Keona, I truly was surprised on how patient, calm, and compassionate she was to my mom. My mom had sever dementia, she would have really bad episodes to the point mom would be aggressive to others while being unaware of it , which is why a lot of caregivers had gave up on us. It was extremely difficult for me and my brother since we both work full time jobs. My whole life I have never seen my mom so calm and happy, I thought we would never see that day ever. My mom was not even that calm and happy with me! I was truly amazed by Keona and her natural skills. My mom also had type 1 Diabetes, me and my brother for years could never get her glucose number to be consistent as her numbers were always extremely high until we got Keona, she took it upon herself to do her grocery shopping and change her diet up. We noticed a few weeks in when we got Keona that my moms glucose numbers were outstanding/consistent the whole time, Keona was on point and paid attention to detail and accuracy when it came to my moms insulin and diet. She did everything: grocery shopping, errands, taking my mom to appointments and even self care days, meal prepped, cooked, light cleaning, took care of her cat, and really just made my mom happy. I truly believed my mom kept going and stayed alive because of Keona. About one month after we had to put my mom in hospice she passed away. Keona is family now, she is an angel truly. She would always come with gifts and treats for my mother, always went out of her way to make sure she was happy. Keona is different, she truly treated my mom so well. We are thankful we met her and we highly recommend her to absolutely anyone. I feel as though my case was so difficult so I know she’s going to be amazing to anyone out there, thank you for reading.
