About Khadijah

Hi! I'm Khadijah and I'm extremely passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My experience with babysitting, teaching, and my education at Barnard College, where I study psychology and urban education, have solidified my commitment to becoming an effective and nurturing childcare provider. I would describe myself as patient, calm, and friendly, which I believe helps create a safe and comfortable environment for children. I believe in open communication with parents, providing regular updates and following their preferred communication method. As an aspiring elementary school teacher, I love playing educational games that promote learning, as well as outdoor sports and board games. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, from infants to 13-year-olds, and am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities. Additionally, I am first aid and CPR trained and am up to date with all my vaccines, including Covid-19 vaccines.
