Ever since I was 15 years old, I have been surrounded by children. I was taught how to care for them and ever since then I have taken care of many. I have taken care of my niece who has autism, age 12. I also volunteered at Loma Linda Children's Hospital and helped look after children when in the playroom. I have been put in charge of children's ministry at my local church. In both the hospital and church, I have taken care of children of all ages, starting from newborns to preteens. I have been a tutor through the AVID program and also a private hire for all grade levels. In addition, I was the lead infant teacher at my local daycare center for over a year. I love being around children; playing with them, teaching them, interacting with them, and entertaining them. I am a strong believer of limited screen time and I may be the best diaper changer in the game.

Khia has been an amazing and integral part of our family. She has been wonderful with our son! We were so nervous to have a stranger care for our son, but from the moment we met Khia she immediately felt like part of the family and our son initiated bonded with her. Our son absolutely loves her and squeals with delight every time she walks in the house. She plays with him, takes him on outings, does crafts, bakes, and is able to tackle challenges (for example whenever our son had issues taking bottle she was the one who was able to rectify the issue!) She has been a true blessing to our family and we couldn’t give her a higher recommendation!!!
