About Kimberly

This past year I taught preschool ages 3 to 4 and loved it, it was one of the best years of my life. I realized teaching was my passion ans I am in the right field. I had to stop teaching because of my school schedule. Another experience with children is working as a camp counselor at Spring Lake Day Camp in Ringwood, NJ. I worked with children ages 6 to 12 and had a group of about 15 kids each day. This job taught me a lot about working with children and even prompted me to change my major to Special Education. I loved every second of my job as a camp counselor. I am fun, energetic and like to do creative things when it comes to baby-sitting and child care. I like to keep the kids busy and use our imaginations. Besides from the camp, I also have years and years of experience baby-sitting on my own. I have been baby-sitting since I was 13. I baby-sit ages ranging from 3 to 14. I have worked with autism, ADHD, fetal alcohol syndrome and have experience working with children who have special needs. I am a senior at St. John's University and I am majoring in childhood education/ special education. I have a car and am available mostly nights, weekends and some early mornings.
