I like working with kids because they see things through fresh eyes. And, you never know what hilarious thing they will say or do next! I'm looking for a job that I can give a parent assurance that their child is safe and well-taken care of while they are busy at their job. I started working with kids when I was 17 as a babysitter and nanny. Then had children of my own and became a volunteer Sunday school teacher. By the time my youngest was one, I had to go back to work and started working in a daycare so he could be in the same building as myself. I continued working in daycare for 21 years! In my spare time, I like to travel, sightsee, hang out with my cat and my family's dogs. have been raising puppies for 16 years! One thing you should know about me is I am reliable! My skills include positive communication, provide hands-on experiences, and give a child confidence to feel independent as they grow and learn.
