About Kimberly

Welcome! My name is Kimberly and I am currently a third-grade teacher in pursuit of getting my masters in Educational Leadership to become a principal! With experience working with children since 2018, I have a strong background in childcare, including babysitting and applied behavior analysis working with children who have autism. Since working with children I have acquired many skills that aid in a great teaching experience such as patience, excellent communication skills, adaptability, a passion for teaching, subject knowledge expertise, and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment. As each child is different I tailor activities to suit the individual student needs. I enjoy hands-on learning allows students to actively engage with the material, leading to better retention and understanding of the concepts. This approach encourages students to learn by doing, fostering critical thinking skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
