About Kimberly

Hello, I have lived in Nokomis, since 1991, with my husband of 33 years, and my daughter (who is now 29 and living in The Netherlands). I graduated from Penn State University, with a degree in Elementary Education, in 1990. I was a mom, and later worked part-time, while my daughter was young. I worked at a camp, in the Berkshires, for 16 summers, which was an amazing experience, because our whole family went each summer. My husband was the Tennis Director, and I was a Advisor for the 300+ girls at the 7 week sleepover camp. I volunteered for several summers at a camp for children who lost a parent, or sibling on 9/11, and for two summers after that, at a trauma-informed camp for children who had experienced a traumatic event in their life. Most recently, I was the Assistant Manager of a jewelry store for two years, but I miss working with kids; it's so much more fun and rewarding.
