About Kiya

Hi! My name is Kiya! I am an experienced childcare provider, having worked in Early Childhood development for about 7 years. My mom is a licensed daycare provider of 24 years so I've had the pleasure of growing up in the industry & working closely with kids for most of my life. I began volunteering at my mother's facility until I went to college. During holiday/ summer breaks I would work as a teaching aid for the 4-year-old classroom. Upon graduating I worked full time for about 3 months until I received my current full time position as a Contract Specialist. My personality traits include compassionate, creative, & enthusiastic. In my free time I enjoy diving into my personal hobbies such as photography & videography. Working with kids has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy teaching them new skills & watching them develop as they explore the different wonders of life.
