About Kris

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, energetic, and creative. I am a foster parent! I enjoy working with kids because I was fortunate to have meaningful adult role models in my life as a child, and I hope to be a positive role model for other kids as well! My goal is to fit in with the family dynamics, making the transition to caring for kids as easy as with another family member! I have been working with kids in some capacity for about 18 years. I have served as a daily caregiver, a staff for residential group homes, a substitute teacher, a behavioral health technician, camp counselor positions, among other roles. I work with children in life skills, emotional support, and autistic support classrooms. I have also served as a therapist providing one on one counseling services to children and their families. In my spare time, I like to be creative or spend time with my animals! My skills include behavioral challenges, special needs, and managing difficult emotions.
