About Kristen

Hello everyone! I am currently a CNA with 11 years of combined experience caring for children, adults with special needs, and the elderly who need assistance. I decided to go back to school to pursue nursing, so I am looking to drop my schedule down at my job (an upscale retirement community where I work with residents with dementia among other things) and find something privately that can accommodate my new schedule. I prefer a one-to-one environment, I feel like I can be much more helpful and attentive to the person I am assisting, as well as the "little" things like just talking with them and getting to know their interests, hearing about their families, life experiences etc. I pride myself on being a hard and dedicated worker who cares about the person, and I always treat others how I would like myself or a family member of mine to be treated.
