About Kristen

The most important thing to me is to have fun. Life is too short to waste time and not laugh. I am a 37-year-old anthropologist turned teacher turned disability advocate who has worked all over the world. I recently moved to Venice from Cape Cod and am loving it! Before I entered college at Arizona State for my bachelors degree, I babysat frequently, ranging from ages 1 year to 7 years old, including a toddler with impaired hearing. I began my career in education via the boys and girls club in 2012 in the San Diego area. Since then, I have completed a masters degree at the University of Southern California's Rossier School of Education, culminating in 2 teaching licenses and a certificate from Harvard. My teaching style is inclusive, adaptive, and fun. Whether your child is low-key, energetic, creative, or shy, my heart is big and my imagination is bigger!
