I'd describe myself as cheerful, positive, helpful. I like caring for seniors because I'm interested in helping folks stay physically/mentally active & be as independent as possible. Generally available hours F-Su, but have flexibility M-Th. I'm hoping to find steady role at 10-15 hrs per week. Both of my parents had some significant health issues. I was a full time caregiver for 5+ yrs while my mother fought cancer/memory issues. Also when my father had an accident, needed a year of rehab/live in care. I have worked in sales, marketing, mgmt. w/Senior health agencies/Senior living communities that have given me more insight on best practices. In my spare time, I like to hang out w/dogs & friends. I like to travel, be outdoors. I also volunteer. One thing to note about me is I'm reliable, & will be fully accountable for the care/duties I'm assigned. My skills include cooking, cleaning/laundry, personal care. And errands, companionship and assisting w/physical activities.
