I have been a babysitter, nanny, and worked in childcare/preschools since I was 12 years old. Last year I got my PhD in Human Development and Family Studies, where I emphasized in Early Childhood. Throughout my PhD I worked as a parent educator, conducted developmental assessments with children from newborn to 10 years old, helped childcare centers become nationally accredited, and did research in Ecuador with families and their children about how parenting and nutrition combine to impact children's growth and development. I've taught university level courses on child rearing, child development, and parenting theories. BUT... now I miss actually working with and interacting directly with children! I am looking for part or full time work that does not include weekends
