When I was 15 years old I heard about this program called Parks And Rec Summer Recreation at the Kent County Community Center, it is a 8 week program for kids to come everyday 8am-5:30 pm, so when I went in to apply for a job I was to young you had to be 16 at the time to get paid to work so they offered me a spot as a volunteer, where I would come in and work everyday but not get paid and I had no problem with that because I have always loved kids ever since I was a kid myself. So everyday for 8 weeks I would get up and go to work and we do numerous of activities throughout the day with the kids we went on a field trip every week and we went to the library and all sorts of fun stiff but when the summer was over the bosses and managers had told me that I could apply next year and get paid so ever since than I keep going back every summer and the kids love me the managers love my work ethics and they hire me every year and I been doing this for 6 years now .
